Cook

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering
to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and
staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, fryer, and cutting
equipment such as knives. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods
preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations
Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, dressings, etc.
Preparing utensils, fryers, and grill for shift
Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
Handling multiple food orders at one time
Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive
Ensuring each guest order is made accordingly
Storing all food properly following health and safety standards
Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils
Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
Able to communicate efficiently with staff, vendors, or customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Cook in the fast-food industry
High School diploma/ GED preferred, but not required
Food Handler Certification

Cashier

GENERAL SUMMARY:
As the first point of contact, you will greet and assist customers as they enter our restaurant. In this position, delivering outstanding customer service will be your main objective. Additional responsibilities include processing food orders, cleaning public spaces, and packaging orders. The ideal candidate will be friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
• Welcome customers and help determine their orders.
• Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database.
• Relay customers’ orders to the kitchen staff.
• Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
• Accept cash and return the correct change.
• Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift.
• Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes.
• Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
• Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces.
• Help kitchen staff when needed.
• Answer phone calls and process guest phone orders
• Other duties as assigned by manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
• Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
• Previous experience as a cashier
• Ability to process coupons, refunds, gift cards and checks
• Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts
